Parkland differs from most treasury & investment firms by making all investments for 10 years or shorter, rather than short term debt-funded investments followed by asset sale or refinancing.

  • Having higher yield expectations and a moderately low cost of capital, through mid -term investment model.

  • Providing fixed terms and yields over the investment term.

  • Security on assets normally not being required; and;

  • Taking no part in asset management decisions.

Parkland invests in assets with a purchase price typically greater than EU100 million or equivalents in local currency.

Assets leased by a strong entity for the investment term, minimum 10 years or longer. Assets are leased under a triple net lease structure. Alternatively, the assets can be operated under operations and maintenance, and off-take contracts for the investment term; and an agreed annual inflationary increase on coupon payments.
